African People's Socialist Party travels to Venezuela for historic conference

Funds still needed to cover trip costs

Last week African People's Socialist Party (APSP) organizers traveled to Caracas, Venezuela for the historic Meeting of People of African Descent and the Revolutionary Changes in America and the Caribbean.

The conference was part of an effort by Africans throughout South America to unite and organize to end their oppression.

Be part of history in the making

The Uhuru Movement is calling on our members and supporters to contribute toward covering the costs of this historic trip.

Marcos Garcia, the Labor Attaché of the Venezuelan Embassy in the U.S. who invited the APSP to participate in the Venezuela conference, stated:

“I think that you have a role to play...we can connect and coordinate, understanding the differences and at the same time…the need to organize and develop an alternative agenda for the Afro, black movement in the Americas.”

There have been many calls for fundraising lately. But if we all do what we can, we can raise the money needed to cover the expenses of this historic meeting forwarding the growing revolutionary unity of African people dispersed throughout the world!!
